Brunch at Committee
7:35 PM
Last summer I took my parents to dinner at Committee to give them a taste of the new dining scene emerging in Boston. Since then, the team at Committee has not only opened fast-casual sister op, Gre.Co but expanded their menu to include everyones favorite weekend meal-- BRUNCH!
Brunch at Committee is just what you'd imagine; delicious and filling, with nods to traditional Greek cuisine served alongside American comfort food favorites. Promptly after arriving we ordered coffee, which was presented with cream and sugar on adorable gold trays.
Instead of your traditional pita, our server brought out a delicious cranberry breakfast bread with fresh marmalade for the table. A perfect way to whet the appetite before indulging in breakfast dishes like Baklava Oatmeal with toasted walnuts, Kalamata figs, and shredded phyllo, and Tsoureki Toast with cinnamon, fresh berries, and maple whipped cream.
I opted for the Greek Yogurt Pancakes with fresh berries, honey, and toasted almonds and a side of bacon while my bestie opted for the Classic Greek Omelet with spinach, dill, scallions, and feta, served with homefries and grilled pita. My pancakes were fluffy and light and the bacon was thick cut with lightly crispy ends. If you're feeling indulgent you can sip on any of their distinct brunch cocktails. The Bloody Marietta is a twist on the traditional bloody with olive tapenade, while the Greek 75 uses a Greek sparkling rosé for a fresh take on the French 75.
Brunch at Committee really hit the spot, I'm looking forward to stopping by again for a taste of the Tsoureki Toast and a Bloody Marietta!
