Each waxing studio has their own style, but the atmosphere at Waxing the City was very warm, and laid back. I was pleasantly greeted by the front desk staff, and after filling out my paperwork, I was escorted to the treatment room. The room was extremely clean and they have Love Your Muff wipes and disposable undies available, which I thought was a nice touch.



Waxing the City uses an orange colored hard wax, so there's less mess and it's gentler on the skin. Denise performed my service and was very friendly, experienced, and professional. My Brazilian bikini wax took around 30 minutes; a little longer than what I'm typically used to, but the attention to detail was impeccable. Unlike past experiences at other studios and salons, no one was rushing to get me in and out and onto the next client which made for a more relaxing and comfortable experience that I'm used to. Overall, the service was excellent and among the best I've experienced in my years of waxing.
