The month isn't even halfway over and I've attended at least three holiday events and have submitted my RSVP to three others. Some are ultra festive, and some are fairly casual. So what's a girl to wear? I teamed up with Banana Republic to share a couple of pieces from their newest collection to style for the holiday season. 

Their stylists selected this Tie-Neck Blouse in Cocoon and their Abby Flats in Burgundy; both of which are super versatile with festive touches like the bow at the neck of the blouse and rich velvet fabric and color of the shoes. I paired them with a vintage tweed skirt from Oscar De La Renta but you can easily make this look more casual by pairing them with black ponte knit leggings or dark denim.

The blouse they sent was a size 0 Regular, it has a zip back so the bow isn't actually functional or adjustable but it fit well, not too tight or too snug. The blouse itself is a bit long which is perfect for styling with leggings; tucked into this A line skirt you don't notice the length at all. The shoes are a size 8, I sized up from my normal size 7.5 because the silver flats I love so much from BR have the tendency to rub my nail polish down and I'm all about extending my pedicures as long as possible!
