Fall in New England: Houghton's Pond

A few weeks ago I ventured out to Houghton's Pond with Evie to check out the changing foliage. It was a gorgeous day and not very cold at all, although I still put Evie in a little sweater! She has quite collection of sweaters, hoodies, and even little coats.

There were lots of families out and about taking photos in the leaves, walking alongside the pond, and of course, walking their dogs. Evie enjoyed sniffing around the leaves and poking her tiny feet in the sand along the water. Whether you'd like to enjoy a fall picnic, go for a scenic run, or just be among the trees and the foliage, Houghton's Pond is a nice choice. It's just a short drive from my Boston, making it the perfect weekend adventure for city dwellers.
