Valentine Date Ideas Inspired by Forty Winks
11:30 AMValentine's Day is just around the corner and while a nice dinner out is always appreciated, I prefer to spend Valentine's Day at home with my sweetie. This V-Day I teamed up with local lingerie boutique Forty Winks and new app Boutikey to share some of my favorite pieces from their shop and some fun Valentine's Day date ideas. But first, how about a peek around the shop?
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by rows of neatly hanging bra and panty sets from designers like Stella McCartney, Calvin Klein, DKNY, and more.
Shop owner Rachel was there to greet me along with some new friends from Boutikey and immediately made us all feel right at home.

On to date night! I choose four looks to wear while creating the ultimate (& intimate) Valentine's Day date at home...

The first look I chose was this Beautiful Bottoms Robe (on sale!) and this sexy black bra by Lascivous. Pair it with classic black bottoms of your choice and this is the perfect look for a sensual evening at home-- Think bubble baths, a hot oil massage, and chocolate covered strawberries.

What is Valentine's Day without red? This chemise from Calvin Klein is the perfect piece to wear while enjoying a sexy movie night in. Pop American Beauty in the DVD player, grab a bowl of popcorn and a bag of pink and red M&Ms, and a couple of craft beers. Don this sultry eye mask from Lise Charmel when the night really starts to heat up.

I love this sweet white bodysuit by Zinke. I can totally see this piece worn with a full skirt for dinner, and without for dessert. Perfect for a candlelit dinner at home followed by some chocolate fondue, snuggling on the couch, and a few glasses of champagne.

This little number, also by Lise Charmel, just screams sexy. From the delicate lace detailing, to the silk bows just begging to be untied, this set is perfect for spending the evening with your significant other behind closed doors. Add the eye mask and a pair of killer heels to complete the look. You could serve your favorite cocktail, but one look in this little number and your partner won't have drinking on their mind.
Which is your ideal V-Day date/look? I love them all! It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think I'm leaning towards the sensual and sweet looks.
