I'm really not a shorts person. At all. But when weather.com said it was going to be 90+ degrees and @NotifyBoston was insisting people check on their elderly neighbors, I knew it was going to be sweltering hot and the possibility of wearing jeans was nil. I would be working outside on the streets of Boston all day, so a cute day dress was sort of impractical... cue the shorts.
