Pro-Tip Tuesday: Drugstore Faves
1:44 PMThis week's Pro-Tips are from Laura, a junior makeup artist here in the Boston area. I asked Laura to share some of her favorite drugstore products for those of us on a budget. Let's just say I'm excited for my next trip to CVS!
L'oreal Telescopic Mascara: Telescopic will always be my number one mascara. In my opinion, this amazing product puts other mascaras to shame! It gives your lashes intense length, and separates your lashes leaving them clump free.
L'oreal True Match Foundation: This is the best drugstore foundation EVER! I love this product. Perfect coverage, it has a beautiful finish to it that lasts all day and a Flawless look without it looking too heavy! This is an amazing product that I recommend to everyone.
Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eye Shadow: This creamy eye shadow is a great product! Very similar to MAC Paint Pots, I actually don't find much of a difference. Great for priming the eyes if you don't own any eye shadow primers. It stays on all day and doesn't crease. Great product for such a low price.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick: These lipsticks are amazing. Very good quality for what you pay. I'm obsessed with MAC lipsticks, but these are very inexpensive and do the job just as well. If you're on a low budget I would recommend these.
Real Techniques Brushes: These are the best brushes you can get for a low price! I love these brushes, I'm actually obsessed. You can buy a set for about $12 at Ulta or buy certain ones separately. As a makeup artist you need a ton of brushes and for a low budget these are the ones I suggest.
Laura is always looking for models and is happy to do you up for an event. Check out her instagram here!
