Thursday Evening at Copley Mall
2:06 PMCopley Place was buzzing with excitement last Thursday evening. There were two events being hosted: Paint the Mall Red & the Neiman Marcus beauty event.
I started the evening at Paint the Mall Red, an event to raise awareness among women about the dangers of heart disease. They had complimentary hair and makeup by MLR Management, samples from Skinny Girl Wine and Popchips, and there were mini red velvet cupcakes. Legal Seafood also served up some of their delicious clam chowder.

After getting my hair done by the wonderful ladies at MLR I found the perfect spot to watch the fashion show. The show featured clothing from local designers & boutiques as well as Eileen Fisher, Bebe, Banana Republic, and Cache.

Once the crowd cleared I made my way over to Neiman Marcus where the party was still in full swing! I enjoyed champagne and Izze soda while visiting the different makeup counters.
Acrobatic dancers performed atop store displays and a small stage set up for the event. The way these ladies could stretch and move was incredible! I was really impressed. I also spotted Derek Z shooting with one of the Miss Massachusetts Teen winners for his online show, the Derek Z Show. See the short episode he filmed at the event here!

I also ran into Smita of Hogger & Co. as she was running around the event snapping photos. Such a talented lady!

It was a busy Thursday evening at the mall, that's for sure! I had a lot of fun at both events, networking, and chatting up other attendees. I think I found some great contacts for a something special I am working on, too!
